Our Story
Nancy Rucker Wallis lived a life defined by compassion and service. As a dedicated nurse in her local community, she selflessly cared for others — especially children battling debilitating and terminal illnesses.
Her kindness wasn’t occasional. It was who she was.
Nancy’s Vision was founded to carry forward her legacy of charity and service above oneself. What began as a tribute has grown into a respected annual fundraising initiative supporting children through outdoor experiences, hunting opportunities, and community support programs.

At its heart, Nancy’s Vision is about helping others and continuing a legacy of compassion within the communities we call home. While the annual youth turkey hunt remains a cornerstone of the organization, the mission extends far beyond the event itself. Nancy’s Vision is committed to supporting local children, families, and causes that need a helping hand—ensuring that the spirit of generosity Nancy lived by continues to make a real difference.
Through community fundraising and the support of generous volunteers and sponsors, Nancy’s Vision provides financial assistance and support to local youth and families facing challenges. Whether it’s helping children in need, contributing to families going through difficult circumstances, or assisting local organizations that serve young people, the goal remains simple: lend a hand where it matters most.
Nancy’s Vision also believes strongly in investing in the future of the next generation. Each year, the organization works to support local youth through scholarships and opportunities that help young people pursue their goals, develop confidence, and build a brighter future.
